We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the game of boys & girls lacrosse and preparing girls and boys for the field of competition. We are about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, positive coaching, and having fun, as well as advancing the sport
To keep our program healthy and growing, active participation by parents and supporters is needed! In particular, support is needed in the following areas:
Coaching: Volunteer coaches are the backbone the program and a primary limiting factor to growth. Oregon Lacrosse Club wants to add girls youth lacrosse, boys high school lacrosse and youth boys lacrosse in the Oregon area
Fund Raising: Develop, organize and oversee fund raising activities.
Communication Committee: Develop and facilitate a press relations program with local newspapers. Summarize game results and email with a few digital photos each week’s games results. Develop periodic press releases to advertise club activities, such as annual registration and fund raising activities.
Field: Assist with field preparation for home games-Line field and dispense cones, set up benches and table, dispense trash can-4 home games. Uniforms: Organize and facilitate the purchase additional uniforms as needed and distribution of team uniforms-annual Apparel: Organize and facilitate the purchase of sweatshirts, jackets, hats, etc. for athletes & supporters-annual. McFarland Players Director: Work with local sport booster clubs, HS athletic directors, and community to grow girls and boys lacrosse Stoughton Player Director: Work with local sport booster clubs, HS athletic directors, and community to grow girls and boys lacrosse Oregon Player Director: Work with local sport booster clubs, HS athletic directors, and community to grow girls and boys lacrosse
Team Support: Working with coaches, organize and facilitate support for a specific team such as score keeper/timer, post game snacks, team dinners, special events coordination, etc.
